About The Position

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer to build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system. The role uses Java and Spring-based REST APIs, modern web technologies, and continuous integration practices to deliver customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. The developer contributes to front-end and backend development and collaborates with an Agile development team to deliver reliable software solutions. The position is remote and requires U.S. citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret security clearance.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Active Final DoD Secret security clearance.
At least 2 years of Java development experience building enterprise applications.
At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment.
At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program.
Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework.

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise applications using Java.
Build web and backend applications and services.
Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs.
Support credentialing and case management system capabilities.
Develop front-end functionality using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
Participate in Agile software development activities.
Work within a continuous integration environment.
Use Java development tools including Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
Collaborate with developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies.
Develop reliable and maintainable enterprise Java applications.
Contribute to front-end and backend application development and apply modern web technologies to software solutions.
Demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving, and ownership of assigned development activities.
