Junior IT Operations Engineer
About The Position
On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Junior IT Operations Engineer. You want an operations role where you can learn modern infrastructure, automate recurring work and understand how services behave in production. The partner is strengthening a team that supports cloud, workplace and core infrastructure services. You will handle operational work with experienced colleagues and gradually take ownership of automation and service improvement. The work spans organisational boundaries and requires both technical understanding and disciplined communication. Decisions must remain useful when they reach delivery teams, suppliers and operational owners.
Requirements
- Education or early experience in IT operations, support or networking.
- Good Windows and basic Linux knowledge.
- Understanding of TCP IP, identity and cloud fundamentals.
- Interest in PowerShell, Python or another scripting language.
- Careful communication and willingness to document learning.
- Professional English; Swedish is useful for user support.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft 365 or Azure administration.
- Home laboratory, internship or relevant certification.
- Monitoring, endpoint management or network support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor services and respond to operational events.
- Resolve user and infrastructure incidents with structured troubleshooting.
- Maintain identities, devices and standard cloud services.
- Automate routine checks and administrative tasks.
- Document fixes, known errors and operating procedures.
- Support changes, patching and recovery tests.
