About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer / Architectural Designer to support our design team. This role involves assisting with various stages of commercial and retail projects, from proposal development to construction phase monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design principles, proficiency in relevant software, and excellent organizational skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
1 -3 years of related experience in interior design, architecture, retail design, or commercial design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software with basic drafting skills
Basic understanding of interior construction drawings, including finish plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and finish schedules
Interior design or architectural portfolio required
Ability to travel within the United States as needed

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred

Responsibilities

Support design review and proposal development for H Mart commercial and retail projects
Prepare and revise interior design packages, construction drawings, and detail drawings
Assist with material selection, furniture layouts, lighting selection, and FF&E documentation
Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, consultants, and general contractors on assigned tasks
Maintain and update the internal library of materials, finishes, and vendor catalogs
Generate high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations for internal design presentations
Monitor project progress and ensure design specifications are being followed during the construction phase
Organize and track project schedules, deliverables, and FF&E budgets to ensure timely completion
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and design reviews
