About The Position
Blue Ridge Unified School District #32 is seeking a Junior High Head Wrestling Coach for the 2019-2020 school year. While our teams have been successful, we value sportsmanship and academic success above all else. The coach MUST be an advocate for multiple sport athletes and encourage their players to participate in more than one sport.

- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (if you possess one)
- First Aid & CPR certification
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification
- NFHS Concussion in Sports certification
- NFHS Sport Specific – Basketball certification
- NFHS Sportsmanship certification
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention certification
- NFHS Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment certification
- NFHS Engaging Effectively with Parents certification
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate for multiple sport athletes.
- Encourage players to participate in more than one sport.
- Develop and implement a yearly plan of action for the wrestling program.
- Outline supervision methods, practices, and procedures.
