About The Position
Blue Ridge Unified School District #32 is seeking a Head Track Coach-Boys for the 2019-2020 school year. While our teams have been successful, we value sportsmanship and academic success above all else. The coach MUST be an advocate for multiple sport athletes and encourage their players to participate in more than one sport.
Requirements
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (if you possess one)
- First Aid & CPR certification
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- NFHS Concussion in Sports
- NFHS Sport Specific – Basketball
- NFHS Sportsmanship
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention
- NFHS Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment
- NFHS Engaging Effectively with Parents
Nice To Haves
- Possession of an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Head Track Coach-Boys.
- Advocate for multiple sport athletes.
- Encourage players to participate in more than one sport.
- Develop a yearly plan of action for the program.
- Implement supervision methods, practices, and procedures.
