About The Position
While our teams have been successful we value sportsmanship and academic success above all else. The coach MUST be an advocate for the multiple sport athletes and encourage their players to participate in more than one sport.
Requirements
- Possess First Aid & CPR certification.
- Complete NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching.
- Complete NFHS Concussion in Sports.
- Complete NFHS Sport Specific – Basketball.
- Complete NFHS Sportsmanship.
- Complete NFHS Heat Illness Prevention.
- Complete NFHS Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment.
- Complete NFHS Engaging Effectively with Parents.
- Submit a cover letter.
- Submit a resume.
- Submit three (3) letters of recommendation.
- Submit IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (if possessed).
Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate for multiple sport athletes.
- Encourage players to participate in more than one sport.
- Develop and implement a yearly plan of action for the program.
- Outline supervision methods, practices, and procedures.
