About The Position

BoxLunch is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support its marketing initiatives. The role involves developing a wide range of creative assets for both print and digital platforms. Responsibilities include designing assets for approved campaigns, photo editing and retouching, preparing print-ready files, and creating digital assets for emails and the website. The position also entails supporting digital asset management through file maintenance, organization, and server upkeep. This role requires a passion for BoxLunch's creative style and strong design skills.

Requirements

  • Proven design skills and experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Workfront, and Adobe XD.
  • 1-2 years of graphic design experience (in-house or agency), including photo editing, retouching, and clipping.
  • Ability to follow established brand guidelines, style guides, and approved creative concepts while maintaining consistency.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and creative direction, make requested revisions, and apply feedback consistently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity with Prepress techniques, packaging, and file preparation.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Focused attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment without compromising performance or accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Figma.
  • AA in Graphic Arts preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of pop culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new, original graphics and design elements for future email and brand marketing campaigns under the direction of the Art Director.
  • Prepare files for final delivery for print and digital formats.
  • Design layouts for print and online content, including in-store signage, website, emails, social media, and other digital and print applications.
  • Maintain organized working files, final assets, and project documentation.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and client representatives.
  • Accept assigned projects and design creative assets based upon approved campaigns, executing materials based on provided specifications.
  • Attend appropriate meetings for assigned projects.
  • Manage assigned projects and tasks through Adobe Workfront, including reviewing project details, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate project status.
