About The Position

The Junior Front-End Engineer works at the intersection of UI/UX implementation, creative engineering, and modern web development. The role brings client experiences to life by translating Figma design systems into clean, responsive, performance-optimized websites using Webflow, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js. Working under the direct guidance of Senior Creative Engineering staff, the engineer builds modular UI components, maintains web design systems, and ensures pixel-perfect fidelity across digital touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on professional front-end development experience in an agency, tech studio, or fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Strong foundational command of HTML5, modern CSS3 (including Flexbox, CSS Grid, and custom properties), and JavaScript (ES6+), with a mobile-first mindset.
  • Practical experience building in Webflow alongside component-based frameworks; Vue.js and Nuxt.js are preferred.
  • Proficiency inspecting Figma files, working with component variants and auto-layout structures, and extracting web-optimized SVGs and assets.
  • Foundational understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and basic server-side rendering (SSR) concepts.
  • Functional experience using Git and GitHub or GitLab for branching, pull requests, and collaborative workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with web animation libraries such as GSAP (GreenSock) or Framer Motion.
  • Practical understanding of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.
  • Basic familiarity with Python.
  • React experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, staging, and maintaining responsive websites using Webflow, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js, following component-based architecture and clean-code standards.
  • Translate Figma designs, wireframes, component variants, and interactive prototypes into high-fidelity web pages, matching spacing, typography hierarchy, and asset specifications.
  • Customize Webflow CMS structures and dynamic templates using custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, reusable code blocks, and structured layout logic.
  • Partner with senior engineers and designers to implement UI transitions, micro-interactions, and scroll animations using CSS and animation libraries.
  • Perform asset compression, site-speed optimization, cross-browser debugging, and mobile-responsiveness checks.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve routine front-end bugs, broken links, styling regressions, and layout shifts across staging environments.
  • Assist with configuring, embedding, and testing third-party tools, APIs, webhooks, and marketing analytics tags.
  • Maintain clean code documentation, follow team web standards, and participate in code reviews.
