About The Position

There is no roadmap to future success, so we need people who can help us build it. The Role: Monitor execution across equities, FX, Futures and other asset classes, trading in different regions. Provide first-line support for any issues arising from the automated execution flow. Conduct project work in areas including adding new liquidity to the execution platform and reducing the cost of implementing WorldQuant’s models. Analyze large datasets to guide further automation and refinement of execution desk processes. Interface directly with Portfolio Managers, Brokers, Senior Management, Compliance, Risk and many other teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline from a top tier institution
  • 1+ years of work experience gained in a buy-side or sell-side institution in a Trading, DevOps or Analytics role supporting investment strategies
  • Enthusiasm to learn more about financial markets and execution trading
  • Experience with at least one mainstream asset class (equities, FX, fixed income, credit, derivatives)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python) and databases (SQL) a strong plus
