Bauer Foundation Corp. is seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing take offs, schedules and cost estimates across a variety of contract types, including lump sum, time and materials, and other delivery methods.

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering
• 0-2 years of experience
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in deep foundations or heavy civil works is a plus.
• Some project estimator skills that include performing basic engineering calculations, being familiar with engineering terminology and effectively communicate with Engineers, Project Managers, and vendors is a plus.
• Exposure to scheduling software, such as Primavera, is considered a strong plus.
• Preferred knowledge of AutoCAD
• Preferred knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Preferred related Estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• This position also requires proactive and consistent follow-up with clients to gather feedback on submitted proposals and support ongoing business development efforts.
• The Junior Estimator will collaborate closely with internal teams throughout all phases of the bidding process.
• Assist the team on other relevant submittals and documents.
• Generate dashboards, and status reports for management.
• Any other relevant duties assigned by the Estimating Manager.
