About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
2–4 years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated field and technical experience
Familiarity with environmental site assessment and sampling protocols
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including in outdoor and field conditions

Nice To Haves

Experience with regulatory programs in the Carolinas is a plus
Someone who's curious, takes initiative, and wants to grow into a well-rounded consultant and leadership role over time

Responsibilities

Support and manage environmental assessment and remediation projects locally and nationally, both in the field and in the office
Assist with site investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, and technical reporting
Work alongside project managers and senior consultants on Phase I/II ESAs, vapor intrusion assessments, and NC Brownfields projects
Learn to navigate state and federal environmental regulatory programs in North and South Carolina
Participate in field activities including site inspections, sampling events, and remediation oversight - expect to spend meaningful time outdoors and on-site
Collaborate with and learn from a team of experienced environmental professionals
