About The Position

CCI Facility Support Services, LLC is seeking a Junior Engineering Project Coordinator to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District on the Power Generation Microgrid construction project at Cape Cod Space Force Station in Bourne, Massachusetts. This role provides technical and administrative support to the USACE Project Engineer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), with a focus on construction submittals, project records, cost and schedule analyses, and contract modifications. This position will report to our office location in Bourne, MA. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000/year.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of such experience in a wide range of construction activities in a similar role on similar sized projects. Advanced degrees or certifications may be acceptable in lieu of field experience, subject to contract requirements.
  • Experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles related to design, construction, and management of commercial, institutional, or industrial building construction, including operations, safety, quality control, schedules, and costs.
  • Experience providing regulatory support and knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements associated with construction.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications, as well as other contractual documents, review a broad range of contractor submittals, manage electronic records, and write clear technical correspondence.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on technical writing.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • The employee must be able to obtain access to Cape Cod Space Force Station and meet applicable security requirements for a government furnished computer and Contractor Common Access Card. Employment may be subject to a post-offer drug screening and acceptable background check results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Navisworks or Revit.
  • Current Secret security clearance or ability to obtain Secret security clearance within three (3) months.
  • Experience working with US Army Corp of Engineers

Responsibilities

  • Review contractor schedules, Accident Prevention Plans, Quality Control Plans, Environmental Protection Plans, technical submittals, and other construction documents; prepare clear comments on compliance with contract requirements.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and other contract documents and respond to general Requests for Information (RFIs) as directed.
  • Support the Project Engineer and COR in developing independent cost estimates, analyzing schedules, and evaluating contract modifications and claims.
  • Attend customer and project meetings and prepare minutes for the COR.
  • Maintain organized electronic project documentation in the Government designated system.
  • Ability to communicate, monitor, and coordinate regulatory milestones and requirements with USACE and project stakeholders.
  • Help identify the causes of system problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, RMS, and CMP to prepare, track, and communicate project information.
