About The Position

This role requires licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or the ability to obtain licensure within six months. The Electrical Engineer - Medium/High Voltage will design medium- and high-voltage power distribution and management systems for renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, BESS, EV charging, and microgrids. The role also involves traditional transmission and distribution design, both underground and overhead. Responsibilities include preparing specifications, calculations, drawings, and full construction packages for complex electrical systems and equipment ranging from 15kV up to 200kV. The engineer will conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews, provide technical support to field personnel, and perform various electrical studies. They will also troubleshoot electrical equipment issues, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct due diligence and feasibility studies, and participate in project management tasks. Mentoring engineering and design personnel is also a key aspect of this role. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, field reviews, and project assignments, with flexibility to work extended hours when project deadlines require.
