Requirements

Architectural Technology Diploma (Recent grads opportunity)
Proficient with use of AutoCAD (or related software)
Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
Ability to manage a heavy workload and operate efficiently
Ability to get along with various personality types and play an active role in the team
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience using Newstar Sales and BuildPro is an asset
Experience in residential housing design and drafting is an asset

Responsibilities

Produce accurate construction drawings in a timely fashion, ensuring current building codes are accurately applied to all files.
Participate in all required specification or design changes, revising all master models and elevations as needed.
Prioritize assigned tasks in accordance with established project schedules by adhering to time frames and deadlines.
Coordinate and organize electronic copy records of all design/drawing documents, permits, and correspondence; print approved permit packages.
Communicate directly with Architectural Controllers and planning and development departments of various municipalities.
Collaborate with the sales team to address any necessary corrections, additions, errors, or omissions in signed plans.
Coordinate new service requests, inspection fee payment, and invoice processing.
Manage documentation within the BuildPro software.
Assist with scheduling construction starts, uploading framing trade partner documentation, and maintaining contact information.
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
