Penguin Publishing Group seeks a Junior Designer to join their dynamic Advertising and Promotions Marketing team. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on a variety of projects in an intense and fast-paced environment. The Junior Designer will manage simultaneous digital, print, and motion graphic projects to support marketing efforts across physical material, web, social, and email platforms. This individual will be an active team member who creates and executes customized campaigns across their list. This role will be part of a fast-paced and versatile Marketing Design team, working primarily on the Avery, Tarcher, Portfolio, Sentinel, and Thesis imprints. Supporting the Executive Art Director and design team, the Junior Designer will have the opportunity to create marketing assets on a wide array of genres and adult nonfiction titles, from finance to novelty books and products, self-care to business management, cookbooks to memoirs, journals, crafting, and more. The ideal candidate will be a creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic designer working closely with the design teams, marketers, and media buyers to brainstorm and create marketing, publicity, and promotional material and branding.
