About The Position

This position is a cross-training opportunity within the Debone Department. The selected team member will be trained to learn and perform all aspects of the debone cone line operations, including both Class 7 and Class 4 positions. Candidates will handle knives and move to class jobs/promotion once they are qualified.

Requirements

• Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
• Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions
• Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level
• Must be able to perform the duties of the position
• Be willing to stand 8-10 hours a day
• Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard
• Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed
• If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply
• You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times
• If you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying
