About The Position

The purpose of this task area is to provide end-to-end life cycle acquisition planning and procurement related acquisition support services (Pre and Post Award) for the DIA enterprise. This role involves developing and integrating existing DIA systems, maintaining descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics. The analyst will analyze historical data using statistics and modeling to determine future performance, and utilize artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to help DIA make better decisions by factoring in knowledge of possible situations. The position also focuses on developing and promoting data analytics technology innovation that results in greater mission impact. It supports the development, deployment, and operations of a variety of multi-Intelligence, advanced data analytics and data science missions, using DODIIS and Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise at the Unclassified, Secret and Top Secret development environments. The role addresses systemic intelligence problems to collect, analyze, exploit, and store mission data to achieve mission objectives through the application of data science innovations such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics technology. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • 2-4 years’ experience performing relevant actions specific to labor category, with relevant experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Meets all qualifications and skills of a Mid-Level.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the concepts involved in the functions outlined in the specified labor category description.
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently, adhering well to oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
  • Demonstrates understanding of interpreting program management and/or acquisition data and documents.
  • Demonstrates ability to defend analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments.
  • Demonstrates ability to produce timely, logical, and concise reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop structured research including, but not limited to, obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information in consideration of Agency security and data protocols.
  • Demonstrates ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge using complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches, to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise.
