About The Position

This position is for a junior administrative professional to support an energy efficiency program that is managed by DNV on behalf of PSE&G in New Jersey. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work in an office environment. The candidate would assist in the day-to-day operations of the program, including processing rebate applications, verifying eligibility, and providing customer support. They would also contribute to data entry, reporting, and program communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administrative services or application review
  • Must be able to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written), customer service and phone skills, organization, grammar, and spelling skills are essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods
  • Intermediate level skill set in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
  • Accurate and professional data entry is required
  • Maintaining paper and electronic files
  • Faxing, copying, scanning and filing documentation
  • Creating and updating electronic forms and spreadsheets
  • Project management support
  • Database management
  • Ability to work core business hours, 8am to 5pm or 9am-6pm
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Communicating in verbal and written format with others to exchange information in a professional manner
  • Repeating motions (i.e., typing) that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
  • Candidate must be a resident of the State of New Jersey

Responsibilities

  • Review customer applications for rebates, verifying eligibility based on program guidelines, and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and properly submitted.
  • Input rebate information into databases, track program progress, and maintain accurate records of rebate payouts.
  • Answer customer inquiries about rebate programs, eligibility requirements, and application processes. Identify and resolve customer issues with professionalism and with the collaboration of cross-functional team members as appropriate.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports on program performance, rebate activity, and overall impact.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities related to rebate programs, including email campaigns, social media, and event participation.
  • Provide administrative support to the rebate program team, including scheduling meetings, managing documents, and handling correspondence.
  • Work with internal teams (e.g., customer service, finance) and external partners (e.g., contractors) to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.
