About The Position

The Junior Contracts Administrator role will focus on assigned Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of War (DoW) and/or other government projects that require proposal support, terms and conditions reviews, negotiation coordination, and subcontract administration. Support assigned analytical and programmatic activities in support of proposals and contracts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a four (4) year bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a four-year bachelor’s degree (BA or BS), four (4) years of demonstrated U.S. Government contracts experience is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of industry experience supporting U.S. Government work activities, with at least one (1) of the three (3) years being industry experience supporting U.S. Government contracting activities performing as a Contract Specialist or other related contracts role.
  • Excellent people, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

  • Complete registration of Company with prime contractors and/or suppliers to include portal registration process.
  • Provide contracts administration support for assigned proposals and contracts/subcontracts with a focus on terms & conditions reviews to identify compliance risks exceptions and propose alternate language to address the identified risks for negotiation for contract leadership review and approval. Support contract and/or subcontract negotiations
  • Conduct supplier terms & conditions flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out, and records retention requirements.
  • Review and process approved contract and subcontract modifications. Monitor compliance with contract/subcontract deliverable requirements cradle-to-grave.
  • Draft correspondence to Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists and Supplier contracts/subcontracts personnel regarding contractual issues for review and approval.
  • Ensure effective and open communication of proposal and contractual information between organizational stakeholders to include subsidiary management representatives, program management and corporate leadership, support functional leads and subsidiary operations employees.
