About The Position

The primary focus is to help organizations design, develop, and optimize their data infrastructure and systems. They help organizations enhance data processes, and leverage data effectively to drive business outcomes. For this role, the gross annual starting base salary is $56186 to $87556 (full-time). This covers base pay only; any bonuses, incentives, and benefits will be discussed later in the recruitment process. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may receive a higher offer, determined by objective, gender-neutral criteria and consistent with our pay principles. If a collective labour agreement applies, we will explain the relevant pay terms at the interview stage. Note: We never ask for your current or previous salary during our hiring process.

Requirements

  • Experience analyzing legacy systems, system design, data flows, and downstream application integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Sybase and SQL environments.
  • Ability to support system design, integration assessment, and migration option analysis.
  • Experience working in complex environments with multiple applications, integration patterns, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of legacy application architectures, system design concepts, data flows, and downstream application integrations.
  • Experience with Sybase, SQL, data analysis, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis techniques including impact analysis, feasibility studies, gap analysis, process modeling, story mapping, and user acceptance testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to microservices/API-based architectures preferred.
  • Exposure to microservices, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS), event-driven architectures, batch processing, and workflow automation.
  • Experience supporting application modernization, platform migration, or legacy transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze legacy systems, business processes, data models, and application workflows to document current-state functionality and dependencies.
  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct discovery sessions, and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Assess system integrations, data flows, APIs, batch processes, and downstream application impacts to support migration and modernization decisions.
  • Create and maintain requirements documents, process flows, use cases, data mappings, system diagrams, and gap analyses.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to evaluate target-state solutions, migration approaches, and implementation risks.
