About The Position

Sky View Middle School is seeking a junior custodian for a full-time, year-round position. The role involves a variety of maintenance and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the school facilities.

Requirements

• Comfortable being on a ladder and/or Genie lift (heights up to 15 to 20 feet)
• Ability to reset Roof Top Units (RTUs) and be comfortable with being on the roof
• Reliable transportation and use of a vehicle during work hours / after hours
• Availability for callbacks outside normal working hours
• Ability to change filters
• Ability to troubleshoot univents
• Knowledge of automatic logic systems
• Comfortable communicating with the police and fire department for alarm calls

Responsibilities

• Completing tasks while on a ladder and/or Genie lift (heights up to 15 to 20 feet)
• Resetting Roof Top Units (RTUs) and working on the roof
• Traveling to the Pump House at the bottom of the hill
• Being available for callbacks outside normal working hours for alarm calls and weather issues
• Changing filters
• Troubleshooting univents
• Utilizing knowledge of automatic logic systems
• Communicating with the police and fire department for alarm calls
