About The Position

Boostlingo is seeking a detail-oriented, solutions-focused Junior Attorney or Paralegal to manage the end-to-end sales contracting process. Reporting to the VP of Legal & Compliance, this high-volume, high-visibility role sits between Legal and Revenue/Go To Market functions. The role drafts, redlines, and negotiates sales agreements against tight service-level agreements (SLAs), partnering with Sales, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, and Finance to keep deals moving while protecting the company’s interests. The position manages the full contract lifecycle, including master services agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), order forms, data processing agreements (DPAs), business associate agreements (BAAs), nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), and amendments. It also supports contract playbooks, templates, fallback language, contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, and workflow improvements. The role coordinates with Security and Compliance on data protection and regulated-customer provisions, including healthcare and language access requirements. The successful candidate combines careful legal review with pragmatic commercial judgment, communicates legal terms clearly to non-legal stakeholders, and identifies solutions that balance risk and business objectives. Boostlingo describes its culture as mission- and values-driven, with a focus on positive energy, adaptability, humility, and inclusion. The company offers hybrid or remote working arrangements and competitive compensation and benefits.

Requirements

  • J.D. or paralegal certification/degree.
  • 1–4 years of relevant contract drafting and negotiation experience in an in-house, law firm commercial practice, or commercial legal team paralegal role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of commercial contracts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain legal terms in plain language to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, creative problem-solving skills and the ability to find acceptable middle ground.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and competing priorities, and confidence making judgment calls within delegated authority.
  • Proficiency with CLM tools and redlining in Word or Google Docs; fluency with track changes is required.

Nice To Haves

  • SaaS or technology industry experience, particularly with subscription- or usage-based commercial models.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security terms, including DPAs, BAAs, and SOC 2-related provisions.
  • Experience directly supporting Sales or Deal Desk functions and understanding sales-cycle pressure and SLA-driven workflows.
  • Experience building or refining contract templates and playbooks.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle drafting, review, and negotiation of sales contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, NDAs, and amendments, from initial draft through execution.
  • Manage a high-volume contract pipeline against defined SLAs, prioritizing and triaging work based on deal urgency, size, and complexity.
  • Redline incoming customer contracts against Boostlingo’s playbook and fallback positions, escalating material deviations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales and customers on contract terms and drive negotiations toward closure.
  • Identify contractual blockers early and propose alternative language or structures that balance risk tolerance and commercial goals.
  • Exercise judgment about when to maintain a position, compromise, or escalate.
  • Maintain and improve the contract playbook, templates, and fallback clause library.
  • Track contract status, turnaround times, and bottlenecks, and report contract volume and SLA performance to the VP of Legal & Compliance.
  • Partner with Deal Desk and Finance on pricing, billing terms, and revenue recognition implications of contract language.
  • Coordinate with Security and Compliance on data protection, BAA, and SOC 2 Type II-related terms for regulated customers, including healthcare and language access accounts.
  • Support CLM tooling and workflow improvements to increase throughput as deal volume grows.
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policy, applicable law, and industry-specific requirements, including HIPAA/BAA obligations.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready contract records and metadata in support of the company’s compliance program.

  • 401(k) plan with match.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Hybrid or remote working arrangements.
