About The Position

The Junior Assistant Manager is a member of the store management team who supports the Assistant Manager and Manager in achieving sales goals, maintaining company standards, and motivating the team. The role includes customer service and sales, team leadership and training, recruitment support, store presentation, sales analysis, and administrative duties. The position is permanent and full-time.

Requirements

• Previous team management experience in a retail environment.
• Natural leadership and the ability to motivate a team.
• Sociable, good communication skills, and strong teamwork.
• Ability to listen to the needs of customers and team members.
• Ability to set goals and achieve them with the team.
• Proactive and conscientious approach.
• Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods, depending on availability.

Responsibilities

• Train team members in customer service, sales techniques, and product features.
• Welcome customers, help them find products, answer questions, and explain product quality, materials, and technical features.
• Coordinate store activities and tasks with the management team.
• Help ensure the store runs smoothly and that the team provides outstanding customer service.
• Achieve personal sales goals and share information with the team to support joint sales goals.
• Mobilize the team and foster a positive work environment, excellence, pride, and belonging.
• Communicate the company vision, mission, and brand culture to the team, and act as an inspiring role model.
• Help build a high-performance team by recruiting, preparing, and training employees and sourcing candidates for available roles.
• Manage team members’ absences and lateness.
• Create an attractive, inviting store using planograms and reflect the brand image to build a loyal customer base.
• Monitor competitors and help plan incoming orders and efficiently set up visual displays.
• Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the store and backstore.
• Analyze sales, in-store traffic, and productivity reports and share results with the team.
• Open and close the store.
• Apply policies and procedures established by head office departments.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
