About The Position

Join the team that powers the financial engine of Hinge Health’s mission to help millions of people move beyond pain. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in our Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle and general ledger operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial data that drives our business decisions. You will work within a dynamic, supportive accounting team to manage cash applications, support month-end closes, and maintain rigorous compliance standards—building a strong foundation for your career in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. What You'll Accomplish In your first 3 months: You will dive into our financial systems (NetSuite) and processes, taking ownership of the daily cash application process. You will learn to accurately apply customer payments to invoices, identify discrepancies, and build relationships with the team by supporting basic month-end close tasks under guidance. In your first 6 months: You will expand your scope to managing and reconciling specific General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will become a key contributor to the month-end close, seamlessly executing your assigned tasks and proactively resolving payment discrepancies with customers to support healthy cash flow. In your first year: You will act as a reliable owner for your designated accounting operations, including supporting external audits by gathering accurate documentation. You will embody our "Learn-it-all" principle by identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies in your workflows and assisting with the implementation of process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (comfortable with large datasets).
  • A "Learn-it-all": You are eager to grow your accounting expertise, constantly seeking to understand the "why" behind the data and comfortable navigating new systems like NetSuite.
  • A Detail-Oriented Operator: You take pride in precision. Whether it's reconciling a complex dataset or applying cash, you ensure accuracy and completeness in every task.
  • A Reliable Partner: You understand that accounting is a team sport. You communicate clearly with internal teams and external customers, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work that your stakeholders can trust.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets utilizing Excel, SQL, or BI tools (such as Mode Analytics).
  • Experience working within NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience at a publicly-listed company or within the SaaS industry.
  • CPA designation, active pursuit of CPA eligibility, or public accounting experience.
