About The Position

As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Junior Accountant to our team of professionals. This role will work out of our Saint John, NB or Blacks Harbour, NB office. Reporting to the Divisional Controller, you will support the accounting team in the review of accounts payable transactions, completion of bank reconciliations, assisting in the preparation of working paper files and other related tasks.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Business, with a minimum 2-year course
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience
• Self-starter who works well in a deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Review of accounts payable transactions
• Completion of bank reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of working paper files
• Other related tasks
