About The Position

Our client is adding a Junior Accountant to their growing company to support accounting functions in the St. Louis area. This is a contract-to-possible-direct hire opportunity for our client. As a Junior Accountant, you will support the Project Financial Analysts by learning the processes, reporting, controls, and accounting functions. You will bring your experience in AR and AP processing, customer invoicing, reconciliation, and other functions while you learn more in depth about the Finance and Accounting departments and their strategies and solutions. Great start in an accounting or financial career!

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Accounting or Finance experience
• GAAP understanding required
• Experience with financial reporting, analysis, AR/AP, Sales Tax, VAT, month-end, and other accounting and finance functions

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred; experience considered

Responsibilities
