The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the accounting department with management of daily and monthly tasks including but not limited to reviewing, maintaining, and preparing reports/information. Requirements

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ideally should be enrolled in a secondary program leading to a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar degree program.
  • Strong verbal communications skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge in clerical functions and computer literacy.
  • Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in MS Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review expense and credit card reimbursement reports for accuracy and alignment with company policy for appropriate expense and coding designations.
  • Review invoices for miscodes and correct.
  • Apply consistent and impartial set of guidelines to expenses and invoices.
  • Prepare internal schedules needed for account reconciliations; including accessing third party Partners for data and reports necessary to prepare the reconciliation.
  • Assist in document gathering and organization.
  • Performs end-of-month procedures as required.
  • May be asked to perform analytical processes or procedures.
  • Preparation and posting of journal entries to accounting software.
  • Operates standard office equipment to include: calculator, photocopy machine, facsimile machine, Computer, printer and multi-line telephone.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Maintain data privacy and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving due dates and team goals.
