About The Position

The Junior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting our accounting operations. This position is ideal for a candidate eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting and grow within a professional team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist with AP and AR processing, including data entry and payment reconciliation
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements
• Perform other administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed
