Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in an accounting environment is preferred but not required.
  • Interested in pursuing CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or other relevant certifications
  • Proficiency with Office 365 software with strong aptitude for Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude ensure accuracy in all work, including complex calculations and numerical analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, consistently ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work

Responsibilities

  • Cost individual products using the standard cost system to inform manufacturing and sales decisions.
  • Track price changes and collaborate with purchasing and outsourcing to ensure accurate costing and valuation.
  • Review Production Order Variance
  • Generate and analyze essential reports, providing insights into sales, manufacturing costs, inventory, KPIs, and utilization.
  • Prepare and analyze WIP reports, pinpointing aging items and coordinating with the production team.
  • Review non-bill of material items, report inventory details to warehouse managers, request cycle counts as needed and report high-volume/value consumption to operations.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through planning and executing physical counts, reconciling inventory accounts, and reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify Cost Saving Measures and process to implement.
  • Assist in monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual budget planning.
  • Assist and provide support with interim and year end internal audits
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support on costing and accounting-related matters & perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
