About The Position

The junior accountant intern/coop will have opportunities to expose to full accounting cycle and assist the senior financial analyst on recording business transactions and analyzing business performance.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in a post-secondary program, majoring in Accounting or Finance related field
• Available to begin the role in September 2026, with an expected commitment of approximately 8 months.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a rapidly changing business landscape
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in checking and reviewing employee reimbursement reports in Concur.
• Check and review vendor set up form and verify HST on CRA website. Set up Vendor in accounting system.
• Check invoice information and save it in the corresponding folder.
• Assist in validating Concur invoice submission to ensure HST information and receipts are valid.
• Collect credit card transaction invoices save in corresponding folder.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required (including but not limit to: Assist in Book entries for USD tracker; Book entries for short-term investment; Monthly roll over short-term investment; Update exchange rate every month)
