New Grad: Junior Accountant, Assurance - Calgary (September 2027)
About The Position
Our Calgary office is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the Assurance team in September 2027. This role involves utilizing technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments, preparing and completing working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards, and gathering evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements. The position also requires building positive working relationships with clients, effectively responding to requests and suggestions, participating in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities with existing clients, and effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Completed undergraduate degree or diploma and the necessary CPA pre-requisites
- Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- Proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
