About The Position

Our Red Deer office is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team for January 2027. This role involves efficiently preparing financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements, preparing working files for income tax and information returns for various client sizes, and preparing corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns. The position also requires building positive working relationships with clients, effectively responding to requests and suggestions, completing ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures, and effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues.

Requirements

Completed undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting and the necessary pre-requisites
Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
Proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Desire to pursue CPA designation
Experience with digital tools and strategies

Responsibilities
