About The Position

We seek to hire a Junior Academy Lead Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at the English Station Campus. This position operates Monday through Friday. The Lead Teacher will provide spiritual leadership, teach the school's curriculum using approved instructional materials and methods consistent with the school's educational and Biblical philosophy, and create a classroom environment conducive to learning. Responsibilities include clear and frequent communication, objective conflict resolution using the Matthew 18 principle, regular parent communication, attending meetings, professional growth, keeping anecdotal records, maintaining good working relationships with faculty, adhering to assigned working hours and school policies, and accepting assigned teaching positions and extra duties.

Requirements

  • Provide/successfully complete a TB Test prior to start date.
  • Provide/successfully complete CPR & First Aid Training prior to start date.
  • Provide/successfully complete a Criminal Records Check prior to start date.
  • Provide/successfully complete a Child Abuse and Neglect Check (CAN) prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Experience leading a classroom.
  • Lesson planning experience.

  • Maintain working hours assigned by the Junior Academy Director.
  • Follow all school policies.
  • Accept teaching position assigned by the Junior Academy Director and any extra duties.
