Juice Bar Crew- Part Time Afternoon to Closing and Weekends
About The Position
Valley Natural Foods is seeking enthusiastic Juice Bar Crew Members to join our vibrant community. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that values sustainability, wellness, and exceptional customer service. The role involves creating a variety of juices, smoothies, coffees, and specialty drinks using organic, locally sourced ingredients, providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, and ensuring the juice bar area is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety standards. The position also includes assisting in stocking and organizing supplies and collaborating with co-op staff to support overall store operations.
Requirements
- Previous customer service and/or cash handling experience
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
- English proficiency
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
- Able to remain flexible to the changing needs of the business
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Availability to work various shifts, including afternoon to closing and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with MS Office and POS systems
- Previous juice bar/coffee bar experience
- Familiarity with natural foods, grocery industry or cooperatives
- Flexibility to pick up extra shifts is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Create a variety of juices, smoothies, coffees, and specialty drinks using organic, locally sourced ingredients.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service, assisting customers in choosing products that suit their tastes and health goals.
- Ensure the juice bar area is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety standards.
- Assist in stocking and organizing supplies and inform supervisors of any inventory needs.
- Work closely with co-op staff to support overall store operations and promote a positive work environment.
