The Judicial Coordinator is an integral member of the Judge's personal staff, assisting the assigned Civil, Criminal, Family, and/or Juvenile Judge of the Court of Common Pleas. The primary goal is to facilitate the organized, accountable, and expeditious movement of cases through the Pennsylvania judicial system, ensuring citizens have access to independent and fair justice. This specialized role supports the Judge in managing their caseload by preparing and maintaining records for various court proceedings (arraignments, pre-trials, trials, hearings), preparing daily and weekly court schedules, drafting orders for the judge's schedule and decisions, setting up courtrooms or meeting rooms (including data systems for tracking information and preparing orders), and generally assisting the Judge with daily duties. The position may also encompass some responsibilities typically handled by a Judicial Administrative Assistant.
