About The Position

Justice Daniel D. McCaffery of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania is currently accepting applications for one two-year law clerk position. Duties of this two-year clerkship consist principally of legal research and writing and involve beneficial and constructive interaction with Justice McCaffery and his career law clerks. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of law.
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Admission, in good standing, to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania or admission to the Bar within twelve months of hire.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check required.

Nice To Haves

  • One to five years of prior legal experience (including prior judicial clerkships) preferred but not required.
