About The Position

Scheck Hillel Community School, a large Orthodox Jewish community school located in sunny North Miami Beach, Florida is currently accepting resumes for an experienced full time Lower School Judaic Studies/Hebrew Teacher for the 2020-2027 school year. Scheck Hillel is a nationally recognized college preparatory and Jewish community day school. Our well-rounded, rigorous, dual curriculum program serves over 1300 students in PKT through 12th grade. Requirements

• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Fluent Hebrew
• Minimum of a bachelors degree
• Excellent classroom management
• Differentiated instruction skills
• Organization skills
• Team player
• Proficient with instructional technology
• Flexibility and ability to work within a demanding environment where developing positive community relations are critical
• Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching Judaic Studies in an orthodox environment
• Advanced degree and/or Orthodox Rabbinic Ordination
• Experience teaching Tal Am
• Educator certification
