About The Position

VTT, a community Jewish day school serving a student body from ages 3 to 13, is currently recruiting a Temporary Hebrew/Judaic Teacher. Requirements

  • Current certification or eligible for certification with the TRB
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Ability to speak, read and write Hebrew fluently.
  • Strong familiarity with, and a desire to impart Judaic content.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and ongoing professional growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and foster a collaborative and creative environment.
  • Highly motivated to grow professionally, work collaboratively, and to become part of an active learning community
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration and ongoing professional growth.
  • Excellent communication, creative problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a learning environment that is conducive to learning and inspires student growth
  • Continually assess student achievement using a variety of methods and modalities
  • Differentiate learning according to students' skills and abilities, provide accommodations and modifications to support the success of all students
