What we are looking for: We are seeking a Jr. Underwriter to review, research, analyze, and price deals up to $2M in gross annual revenue. The ideal candidate will support senior analysts by collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data, creating financial models, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to help guide investment and business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency with spreadsheet software like Excel, and solid communication abilities to translate complex financial information for management and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
• 0-1 years of consumer and or commercial underwriting a plus
• Experience or education with financial analysis
• Experience or education in reviewing and analyzing financial statements
• Strong analytical skills
• Skilled at multi-tasking; able to coordinate, organize, prioritize, and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities and unexpected situations
• Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• ability to manage multiple software applications
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Strong work ethic
• High level of discretion

Nice To Haves

• knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is desirable
