About The Position

The Technical Operations / Data Center team is seeking a Junior System Administrator to support day-to-day operations across multiple data center locations. This role has a strong emphasis on hands-on data center work, server support, and multi-site coverage. Due to recent team changes and increased workload, this position is a high-priority hire and requires someone who can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up.

Responsibilities

Perform data center operations support, including: Rack & stack of servers and equipment, Running and managing cabling (fiber and copper), Re-cabling and hardware installs across racks
Support Windows Server environments (2016–2022)
Assist with patching and system maintenance (ServiceNow-driven processes)
Troubleshoot and resolve server and infrastructure issues
Support network hardware (switches) and connectivity needs
Travel to remote hospital locations (e.g., Pardee, Appalachian) as needed to support infrastructure when local staff is unavailable
Operate as a flexible “floating resource”, assisting across sites based on business needs
