Requirements

A 2 year Associate Degree in Accounting or other related field. Years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Proficient in functions in Microsoft Excel.
Occasional standing, bending lifting 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming invoices and reconciling them with purchase orders provided by the purchasing department.
Posting period-end journal entries and assist with other projects as assigned.
Monitors the AP email account for invoices and correspondence from vendors and responds appropriately.
Prepare vendor payments by creating ACH batches on the banking platform and processing checks for mailing.
Matching inventory payments with invoices for accurate payments and filing related documents.
Participate in the period-end close process by creating and posting journal entries.
Provide back up for Accounts Receivable, Office Operations, and other Accounting functions as needed.
