Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Prepare and present dishes according to Marriott’s standards and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support inventory control, ordering, and proper storage of food supplies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
