Jr. Software Engineer

Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript)
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Four (4) years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree
- Must have a TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with language specific frameworks: Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.), Python frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.), C++ frameworks (STL, Qt, Boost, etc.)
- Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch or MongoDB
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud development technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a variety of software systems, from large-scale data platforms to real-time analytics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to transform ideas into new features and user-friendly designs
- Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code to ensure our systems are reliable and performant
- Solve interesting problems by developing and implementing robust algorithms
- Work with a team to test software, create documentation, and ensure everything we build meets the highest standards
