About The Position

CEdge has an opportunity for a Junior Software Developer, located in Saint Louis, MO. This role involves contributing as a Junior Software Developer within an Agile/Scrum team to advance the development, testing, deployment, and modernization of mission-critical software for TRAC2ES. The goal is to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions by adapting to evolving requirements and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Experience with Javascript development using Node.js / React
Familiarity with SQL/RDBMS, API integration, cloud native development and Docker/containers
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing tools.
Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

DCWF 8140 – Security+
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree program.
1-4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Contribute to incremental software delivery, supporting defect resolution and operational efficiency.
Help facilitate real-time feedback loops through scheduled and ad-hoc demonstrations.
Help deliver working software increments that meet functional, security, and quality acceptance criteria.
Assist in documenting technical debt and emerging requirements for actionable tickets.
