About The Position

This role is intended to provide experience and training to provide a development path to future opportunities. In this role, you will follow safety rules and company values, work on many types of equipment such as aerial platforms, digger derricks, waste and recycling machines, and cranes. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, install and troubleshoot safety video and telematics equipment within 100 miles of your location, and assist with warehouse responsibilities related to parts inventory at the location. You will utilize current technology to support everyday work functions and assist with other general shop duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, electrical tools and battery-operated impact gun)
  • Basic electronics testing knowledge including use of voltmeter, power probe, and test lights.
  • Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Must have a driver’s license and meet Terex qualified driver standards. MVR check will be conducted.
  • Must be very self-motivating, proactive, and have a self-starter personality with a “can do” attitude looking to be a team player. Must also be able to work independently while following direction from a remote management.
  • Able to use company electronic devices for reporting and documentation as well as have basic computer skills.
  • Must be detail oriented with a thorough approach to note taking and documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with utility-type equipment, along with Genie &/or JLG
  • Experience in general automotive, commercial electronics, and waste recycle industry vehicle knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a team-based, safety-focused workplace
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills: both oral and written
