About The Position

This is an entry-level position within the Quality Control department, offering opportunities for learning and growth. The Jr. Quality Technician will be responsible for maintaining and managing Quality Control (QC) activities, including incoming product inspections and final inspections (dock audits). The role also involves initiating and documenting non-compliance issues and assisting other department members with various tasks.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Computer operation skills and basic software knowledge to complement work tasks.
• Ability to read and write in English fluently.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. as part of the job function.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate incoming product inspections.
• Manage and coordinate final inspections (dock audits) including reporting of non-compliance issues.
• Initiate, document and communicate NCP issues under your primary role.
• Assist department members and manager with tasks as deemed necessary by manager.
• Become cross-trained in all aspects of the department.
• Maintain departmental documents.
