About The Position
We are seeking a Jr. Java Developer to join our team. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications and intranet systems using Java technologies. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and documentation. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, a self-motivated attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English are essential.
Requirements
- Min 5 years of web-based system development experience, including Java development and maintenance of intranet systems.
- Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Korean/English bilingual proficiency required.
- Experience with Java and Full J2EE Stack.
- Experience with Spring Framework.
- Experience with iBatis, Hibernate, and/or JPA.
- Experience with JDBC, JSP/Servlet, Web Services, and JMS.
- Experience with HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX.
- Experience with Oracle Database Server, SQL, and PL/SQL procedures.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and system maintenance.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data analytics and visualization tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and intranet systems using Java technologies.
- Perform server-side design, programming, and application development.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot application issues and quickly adapt to existing business functions and technical system structures.
- Support application maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Develop and maintain database objects, SQL queries, and PL/SQL procedures.
- Assist with UI and application module development as needed.
