About The Position

This is a 1-year contract, fully on-site position for a Korean/English Bilingual Jr. Java Developer. The role involves web application system maintenance, server-side design and programming, and some traditional user interface and application module development. Responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. The candidate must possess strong problem-finding skills and adapt quickly to existing application structures and business functions.

Requirements

• Korean/English Bilingual
• 1-5+ years in web-based related system development including Java experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems
• Fluent in verbal and written English
• Experienced Java Developer with knowledge in Full J2EE stack, RIA framework, Spring, iBatis/Hibernate/JPA, Java, JDBC, JSP/Servlet, Web Services, JMS
• Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSon, Java Script, AJAX
• Experience with Oracle database server, SQL, PL/SQL procedures
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn, excel, and deliver at a quick pace
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in data analytics & visualization tool (ex: Tableau, Power BI)
• BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field
