About The Position
This role involves installing hand railings and other architectural metal products on commercial job sites. The Jr. Installer will assist with material staging, perform field measurements, and ensure job site safety and organization. This position requires the ability to travel extensively, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and utilize a company vehicle. The role is temp-to-hire.
Requirements
- Ability to safely install railings and other architectural metal products in accordance with Greco's safety and quality standards.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings and installation prints.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing priorities effectively.
- Ability to travel extensively and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must have a current Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to travel Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of experience in commercial construction or a related trade preferred.
- Experience installing railings, miscellaneous metals, or similar architectural products is preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools, taking measurements, and reading installation drawings.
- Welding experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Install hand railings and other architectural metal products on commercial job sites.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials and equipment.
- Perform field measurements and verify dimensions as directed.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand tools in accordance with company safety policies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Assist Lead Installers with layout, assembly, and installation activities.
- Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and fellow team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
