About The Position

Fiber Network Services is a communications contractor offering a full range of fiber optic and cable network services. Servicing Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Segra and Suddenlink in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Washington D.C., we are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Jr Financial Analyst to help our corporate accounting team out of our Manassas, VA .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, eager-to-learn attitude with a team-player mindset
• Able to pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and financial document management
• Assist with preparing basic financial reports, summaries, and dashboards
• Help track expenses, budgets, and variances
• Maintain and update financial models and spreadsheets
• Collect, organize, and validate financial data from internal sources
• Assist with reconciliations and data accuracy checks
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes under supervision
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested
• Help document financial processes and maintain reporting templates
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other departments as needed
